What are the steps taken by the Govt. to prevent and control AMR?
In this video, Dr. Sunil Gupta, Additional Director, NCDC, will talk on the steps to be taken by the Government to prevent and control antimicrobial resistance. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has already taken serious initiative and a national task was made in 2010 to tackle this problem.
Also, in 2011 a national policy was also introduced for preventing AMR And recently, a detailed comprehensive action plan was also planned for antimicrobial resistance activities.
