What are schedule H1 Drugs?
In this video, Dr. Sunil Gupta, Additional Director, NCDC, will talk on schedule H1 drugs. Schedule H1 drugs are enacted two and half years back by Drug Controller General of India and it includes lot of drugs. It also includes two dozen antibiotics also. Few of them are quinolones, third generation cephalosporin, carbapenems, etc. These drugs are to be sold by prescription of medical practitioners only. Self-medication is prohibited.
