Role of Levamisole in children with steroid dependent and relapsing nephrotic syndrome?

In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India and Group Editor in Chief MEDtalks, will discuss about the role of levamisole in steroid dependent and frequently relapsing nephrotic syndrome. Levamisole is good in children with relapsing nephrotic syndrome according to one study. Instead of long term steroids, they can be given levamisole therapy. Also, he will further state that less relapse are seen with levamisole as compared to steroids.
