Dr. Mahajan will highlight that the most common joint which is highly affected by osteoarthritis is the knee. Also, the carpometacarpal joints are the first ones to get affected. Except for knee and the carpometacarpal joints, degenerative changes are seen in the back, hips, spine, toes and distal interphalangeal joints.
