He states that the most common complication of the knee replacement is the infection. Pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis, clots formation are seen after knee replacement. Dr. Mahajan further says that role of early mobilization and with the help of blood thinners can prevent risk of clots and deep vein thrombosis.
