In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India and Group Editor in Chief MEDtalks, will discuss whether doctors can give telephonic consultation to the patients. He says that the answer is both yes and no. if I have not seen the patient and have not examined the patient, then it can be risky. Such telephonic consultation can been illegal and charged in court. Telephonic consultation is allowed if you know the patient or have examined. Dr. Aggarwal will give examples and explain when it is allowed for telephonic consultation.
