When do we give statins in a patient with CKD?

He says that if the CKD patients has high cholesterol levels then statins are introduced. If the cholesterol levels are normal then no need of initiating statins.

Dr Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, graduate and post graduate from King George Medical College, Lucknow did his nephrology specialization from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1987.
