What is the role of NSAIDs in Osteoarthritis Knee?

In this video, Dr. Ramneek Mahajan, Director - Orthopedics & Joint Replacement, Max Smart Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi, will discuss the role of NSAID in osteoarthritis knee. NSAID’s are basically used for pain management. Pain is due to inflammation and patients are not able to exercise or walk due to discomfort, hence NSAIDs are prescribed. He also informs that NSAIDs should be sparingly used due to its side effects.
