How do you improve on affordability and accessibility of healthcare in our country?

In this video, Prof. Bejon Misra, Founder-Director, PSM India Initiative, will talk on affordability and accessibility of healthcare in our country and how to improve it. He explains that accessibility and affordability will come only when an infrastructure is built to provide healthcare at doorstep. In our country, the delivery of healthcare at primary health care sector is extremely poor. He will focus on the point due to these accessibility issues, patients has to walk or has to reach almost 100 or 200 kilometers to get medical services. Prof. Bejon will also focus on the affordability of medicines which are many times compromised. The quality and safety of medicine is healthcare should be paramount and prices should be based on certain standards.
