Does Patient safety concern India?

In this video, Dr. K K Kalra, Former CEO, NABH, will talk about the concern related to India. The concern of patient safety is not only in India but world-wide. When a patient is admitted in the hospital, many harms are done unintentionally such as hospital acquired infections. Also, these patients might suffer a fall or samples getting infected etc. He will further talk about all these concerns.

Presently the Chief Executive Officer of NABH, a constituent board of Quality Council of India, set up to establish and operate accreditation and allied programs for healthcare organizations. Was a member of the Accreditation committee NABH for 2 years and also a member Governing body, Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya Society, Govt of NCT of Delhi. 28 years of experience in health care services out of which he has 12 years of hospital administrative experience. Has established and developed the Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya (CNBC) hospital a super-specialty Public Pediatric hospital and managed the hospital as a Medical Superintendant from September 2003 to December 2012. Has contributed towards setting up and running of Pediatric Gastroenterology unit at Lok Nayak Hospital attached to Maulana Azad Medical College and later at Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya Hospital. Another significant contribution is towards Polio Eradication Program while working as a Surveillance Medical officer in WHO from the year 2000 to 2002. He Has been conferred State award for Service Doctors 2005.
