With the outpatient department (OPD) already operational, AIIMS Rajkot is on track to be fully functional by October. The ongoing project has made significant progress, with 65 percent of the work already completed. During a visit to the AIIMS site, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya expressed satisfaction with the project’s advancement. He stated, “Nearly 65 percent of the construction work for AIIMS Rajkot has been finished, and we are aiming to complete all remaining tasks by October of this year.”
The hospital will soon witness the commissioning of a 150-bed indoor facility in August, followed by a 250-bed facility in September. The goal is to finalize all remaining works to ensure the completion of AIIMS Rajkot within the specified timeline.
