In this video, Dr. M.P George, Scientist D, Delhi Pollution Control Committee, will discuss about the magnitude and impact of noise levels. The airports are generally very busy. The localities which is near the airports are influenced by the noise pollution. The maximum flights landing and taking off are in night hours. On an average every third minute the flight lands or takes off. The population surrounding in affected by the high noise levels up to 80 or 90 dB. This affects the sleep cycle hence affecting the health too.
