In this video, Dr. M.P George, Scientist D, Delhi Pollution Control Committee, will discuss on how can we control the noise. The control of the noise level should be at source from where the noise is emitted. When we can’t control the noise levels at source, then barriers are used. Barriers change as per the sources. It also depends on which type of frequency is emitted from the source. Dr. George will also talk about which type of material to be used and develop the barriers in the noise pathway. The natural barriers are thick plantation which can decrease the noise level.
Dr. MP George is Scientist D, Air Laboratory, Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), New Delhi. Working as In-charge laboratories and responsible for all the Air and Noise monitoring in Delhi. In-charge for Continues Ambient Air Quality Monitoring and Online Noise Monitoring in Delhi.
