What is AMR?
In this video, Dr. Sunil Gupta, Additional Director, NCDC, will talk on Antimicrobial resistance (AMR). It is a condition where the microorganism which can be a bacteria, virus or fungus or a parasite stops responding to the antimicrobials or antibiotics and the patient doesn’t respond to the treatment. This condition known as antimicrobial resistance is explained in this video.
