In this video, Dr. Manisha Agarwal, Vitreo-retina surgeon, Dr. Shroffs Charity Hospital, New Delhi, will talk about the common diseases which can have an impact on the retina. Diabetes, high blood pressure, aging process, any systemic disorders like heart problem or thromboembolic phenomena can have an impact on the retina. Dr. Manisha will also talk on diabetic retinopathy which has become very common nowadays. She will explain that a diabetic should get his retina checked at the time of diagnosis which is very important.

Dr. Manisha Agarwal is a Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon in Darya Ganj, Delhi and has an experience of 13 years in this field. She is presently head of Retina Services at Shroff Charity Eye Hospital, Dariyaganj, Delhi. She completed MBBS from agara Univeristy in 1996, MS - Ophthalmology from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in 2001 and DNB from National Board Of Examination in 2002.
