Who is the signing authority of laboratory reports?

In this video, Dr. Sunil Dargar, MBBS, MD, Pathologist, New Delhi, will talk about the signing authority of the laboratory reports. He will tell us who is authorized to sign the pathology reports. There is a misunderstanding that many pathology reports are signed by the lab technicians or the quality managers or anyone who works in the pathology department. It has been clarified that only those who possess the qualifications which are registered with Medical Council of India are authorized to sign a pathology report. Those who have qualifications of MBBS, MD or PhD and the other registered qualifications which includes DM, MCH and others.
