How often should we get our retinas checked in retinopathy?

If you have diabetes then at the time of diagnosis, retina has to be checked. Depending on the condition of the retina, the retina specialist will advise when you need the next check-up. Dr. Manisha recommends that one has to get their eyes checked at least once a year even if you are not having any eye problems.
