శస్త్రచికిత్స అనంతరం, శస్త్రచికిత్స చేసిన ప్రాంతం (surgical site) సరైన సంరక్షణ పొందడం ఆరోగ్య పునరుద్ధరణకు మరియు సంక్రమణను నివారించడానికి అత్యంత కీలకం. శస్త్రచికిత్స అనంతర పరిశుభ్రత అనేది రోగులు ఇంట్లో పాటించగల ముఖ్యమైన చర్యలలో ఒకటి; ఇది కోలుకోవడాన్ని మెరుగుపరచి సంక్లిష్టతలను నివారించడంలో సహాయపడుతుంది.¹

అసాధారణ లక్షణాలను గుర్తించడం మరియు నివేదించడం⁷

- గాయానికి హాని కలిగించే కఠినమైన శారీరక కార్యకలాపాలను నివారించండి.³
- గాయాన్ని పర్యవేక్షించడానికి నిర్ణయించిన ఫాలో-అప్ అపాయింట్మెంట్లకు హాజరుకండి.¹
పరిశుభ్రతను పాటించడం, PVP-I వంటి యాంటిసెప్టిక్లను సరైన విధంగా ఉపయోగించడం, అలాగే ఏవైనా అసాధారణ లక్షణాలను వెంటనే నివేదించడం ద్వారా మీరు సరైన మాన్పును ప్రోత్సహించి సంక్రమణ ప్రమాదాన్ని తగ్గించవచ్చు.⁴
