India has already established a presence at the international level and is becoming a leader in preventive healthcare, with Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh recently announcing that the country's vaccine market is expected to reach a Rs 252 billion valuation by 2025.Â

The Minister quoted India's development of four indigenous vaccines in the last two years. He further highlighted the achievements of the "Mission Covid Suraksha" initiative, which has delivered four vaccines, augmented the manufacturing of Covaxin, and established the necessary infrastructure for the development of future vaccines. Mr. Singh stated, "India has already developed a nasal COVID vaccine and a vaccine related to Human Papillomavirus (HPV), which could help prevent cervical cancer. India continues to make strides in the vaccine market, and its value is set to increase dramatically in the coming years." He also commented on India's exceptional abilities in preventive healthcare, noting that the country is currently creating multiple vaccines.

During his official visit to the United Kingdom, Singh expressed his desire for India and the UK to work together in the fields of biotech startups and vaccine development.Â
