How do we classify CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease)?
In this video, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, Professor and Head of Nephrology, AIIMS, will explain the classification of chronic kidney disease. CKD was classified initially based on glomerular filtration rate for five stages. He will further discuss each stage according to the glomerular filtration rate. Nowadays, one more criteria for staging is been introduced based on proteinuria. He will also explain the degree of proteinuria.
