As it is very important to supplement our body with the required amount of nutrition, similarly in Diabetes also it is not only important to consume proper diet with nutrition but it is also important to follow proper diet patterns which includes little eating at one time. Out of total 100% calories, 7% carbohydrates, 20% proteins & 20% fats should be consumed regularly. It is important to consume 0.8% of protein per kilogram of body weight.
Fish containing Omega-3 fatty acid are very beneficial in controlling blood sugar level. Diabetics should drink at least 10-12 glasses of water everyday
