She discusses that with right kind of diet and exercise, diabetes can be managed. Diet has three components: carbohydrate, proteins and fats. In Indian diets, protein are lacking. She further talks that first try to eat lesser what you want to eat. Reduce the portion size. Whenever you are eating food, try to eat first the protein food.
