How is geriatric practice different?

A checklist is needed for geriatric practice. Geriatric group takes polypharmacy including herbal medicines. They have a tendency to fall so it is necessary to prevent fall in them. Also, we need to check for gait stability, vision disorder, deafness, co-ordination in their walk. The doctor should also check for their cognitive function, dementia, depression, etc. According to the comorbidities of the patient, the treatment should be initiated.
