In this video, Dr. J S Pasricha, Retired Professor, Department of Dermatology and Venereology, AIIMS, New Delhi will discuss about acne. Acne mostly develops in adolescent period and are generally due to blockage of oil glands. The major treatment for preventing acne is avoiding blockage of oil glands. Wash and clean face properly. Take treatment for inflamed acne and once treated try to maintain it. He will further explain the different types of treating acne.

Dr. J S Pasricha has completed MBBS from Punjab University, Chandigarh in 1961, MD - Dermatology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1964 and PhD - Dermatology & Venereology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1968. A member of Medical Council of India (MCI).
