What is the treatment of vitiligo?
The video will talk about the treatment of vitiligo by Dr. J S Pasricha, Retired Professor, Department of Dermatology and Venereology, AIIMS, New Delhi. He will explain the different types of treatment which is used to stimulate the pigment in the white patches but they have no effect in controlling the disease process. He will also explain about a short course of steroids to control the disease. The treatment is useful if the pigment cells are not lost and then can be regenerated.

Dr. J S Pasricha has completed MBBS from Punjab University, Chandigarh in 1961, MD - Dermatology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1964 and PhD - Dermatology & Venereology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1968. A member of Medical Council of India (MCI).
