World Asthma Day 2023: Understanding the Chronic Respiratory Disease and Its Observance

World Asthma Day is an annual observance that falls on the first Tuesday of May. This year, it is today, i.e., May 2. 

Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition that concerns millions of individuals worldwide. It is caused by the airways becoming inflamed, narrow, or swollen, making breathing difficult. People are also taught about asthma's symptoms, treatment, and causes to increase awareness.
