Journey with INASL

In his presidential oration, Prof Shivaram Prasad Singh spoke about his journey as President, of INASL.

He has achieved innumerable coveted awards and honors, organized many national and international conferences, workshops, consensus meetings, and has been instrumental to set you the South Asian Association for the Study of Liver (SAASL), which he has led as its General Secretary as well as President since its inception. He has authored several consensus statements including HCV Task Force of the Indian National Association for Study of the Liver (INASL), Portal Cavernoma Cholangiopathy: Consensus Statement of a Working Party of the INASL, and Consensus Statement of HCV Task Force of the INASL. Various INASL guidelines/consensus statements/position papers authored by him including INASL Guidelines on Management of HBV infection in patients receiving chemotherapy, biologicals, immunosuppressants or corticosteroids, INASL guidance paper on nomenclature, diagnosis and treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, INASL-FOGSI position statement on management of liver diseases in pregnancy and INASL guidance for antiviral therapy against HCV infection in 2015.
