"Hypertension is both a cause and a consequence of chronic kidney disease (CKD), accelerating disease progression and increasing cardiovascular risk. Effective blood pressure (BP) control is a cornerstone of CKD management, yet optimal targets and treatment strategies vary based on comorbid conditions, including diabetes.
This webinar will provide an evidence-based review of current guidelines for BP management in CKD, with a focus on individualized treatment approaches for patients with and without diabetes. Experts will discuss the selection of antihypertensive agents, the role of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) inhibitors, SGLT2 inhibitors, and nonsteroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (nsMRAs), as well as practical considerations for achieving optimal BP control in CKD."
