She will discuss about Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) which is generally not closed in India. If the young patient is symptomatic and has cryptogenic stroke or embolism. Unless indicated the PFO is not closed. She will also talk about the defect in the ventricular septum and its intervention. Large ventricular septum defect needs surgical intervention and small defects might close on its own. She further will explain about mitral valve and aortic valve intervention too.
