Covid-19 and upper respiratory infections not only share common modes of transmission, their presenting symptoms also overlap with each other. Covid-19 must be considered in the differential diagnosis of URIs as it can present as a mild URI. All URI patients must therefore be considered as potential Covid-19 infections and managed accordingly.
