Dr. Alfonso J. Rodriguez-Morales is a president of the Travel Medicine Committee of the Pan-American Infectious Diseases Association (API), as well as the president of the Colombian Association of Infectious Diseases ACIN. He is a member of the Committee on Tropical Medicine, Zoonoses, and Travel Medicine of ACIN and and a Member of the Council of the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID). He is a Vice-President of the Latin American Society for Travel Medicine (SLAMVI). He has been Recognized as a Senior Researcher, at the Ministry of Science of Colombia in 2014.
