Padma Shri Awardeer. T.S. Chandrasekar, MD, DM, FRCP (London, Edinburg, Glasgow, Ireland), D.Sc, FACG, FASGE, MWGO is the Founder and Chief Gastroenterologist of MedIndia Hospitals, Chennai, India. Dr. TS Chandrasekar had a brilliant academic career. He did his MBBS from Madurai Medical College in 1980 with 14 Gold Medals. He did his MD (Medicine) in 1983 and DM (Gastroenterology) in 1985 from the most prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh and D.Sc from The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University in 2009. Dr. Chandrasekar has been honored with the most prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP – Glasgow). He is the Convenor of MedIndia Research Foundation, Founder and Managing Trustee of MedIndia Charitable Trust and Chief Organiser of MedIndia Academy.

Dr Yuichi Mori is an assistant professor of Digestive Disease Centre, Showa University Northern Yokohama Hospital, Yokohama, Japan. His research interest is on colonoscopy and developing computer-aided diagnosis for endoscopy. In 1995, he launched Mebiol Inc., the first and only company to commercialize a medical membrane–based plant cultivation technology, Imec. He did MBBS from Niigata University in 1999 to 2005, PhD from Showa University Graduate School Of Medicine in 2013.
