He is a member of Tamilnadu Medical Council and Indian Medical Association (IMA).

Dr. Pradyut Waghray is a MD (Chest), FRCP-London ( UK),FCCP ( USA) FAMS (India), Prof & HOD of Pulmonary Medicine SVS, Medical College, Founder Chairman of the Kunal Institute of Medical Specialities Pvt Ltd Hyderabad and Senior Consultant Pulmonologist Apollo hospitals Hyderabad. He completed MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad in 1982, Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD) from AP Chest Hospital, Hyderabad in 1984 and MD - Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases/Medicine from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad in 1986. Dr. Pradyut Waghray was recently conferred with the fellowship of the academy of medical specialties by the Indian Medical Association. He is Member of the British thoracic society and also gold member of European respiratory society. Dr. Waghray has many publications and presentations to his credit.
