Overview

Dr M Khalilullah, Padma Shree, Padma Bhushan, Hon. Professor, The Cromwell Hospital, London, will talk about syncope in details. Syncope is a very common symptom which occurs in all ages. It can occur many times in a week or day or can occur once in several months. Syncope can be due to fatigue or anemia or long eating intervals or it can be a manifestation as a side effect of a drug. The common causes are arrhythmia, sinus bradycardia or AV block. It can also be due to mitral or aortic stenosis. He will further talk about other causes and its diagnosis and management.
