Overview

Dr M Khalilullah, Padma Shree, Padma Bhushan, Hon. Professor, The Cromwell Hospital, London, will talk about syncope in details. Syncope is a very common symptom which occurs in all ages. It can occur many times in a week or day or can occur once in several months. Syncope can be due to fatigue or anemia or long eating intervals or it can be a manifestation as a side effect of a drug. The common causes are arrhythmia, sinus bradycardia or AV block. It can also be due to mitral or aortic stenosis. He will further talk about other causes and its diagnosis and management.

Dr. M. Khalilullah is a renowned and experienced Cardiologist with an extraordinary practicing career of more than 58 years. In the year 1960, he did his MBBS course from Nagpur University. In 1965, he obtained an MD degree from Nagpur University. He also has an MD degree in Cardiology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1969. He can be consulted at The Heart Centre.
