Pediatric Gastroenterologist, Group Director at Apollo Group of Hospitals

Professor Anupam Sibal MD, FIMSA, FIAP, FRCP (Glasg), FRCP (Lon), FRCPCH, FAAP, has been a paediatrician for twenty years. Prof Sibal established the division of paediatric gastroenterology and hepatology in 1997 at Apollo Hospital, Delhi. Prof Sibal helped set up the first successful liver transplant program in India in 1998 at Apollo Hospitals, Delhi. Prof. Sibal was appointed as the Group Medical Director of the Apollo Hospitals Group in 2005. Apollo Hospitals Group has 65 hospitals and a strong presence in tertiary care, secondary care, primary care, health insurance, IT, education, research, project consultancy, pharmacy retailing and telemedicine.

Consultant in Paediatric Hepatology at King’s College Hospital, London

Prof Anil Dhawan is a Consultant in Paediatric Hepatology with a special interest in liver cell transplantation, immuno-suppression after liver transplantation, Wilson's Disease, neonatal cholestasis and acute liver failure. Prof Dhawan is a well known internationally and has held or currently holds board level appointments with the European Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, International Liver Transplantation Society and Cell Transplantation Society. Prof Dhawan qualified as a doctor in India and has since held appointments in the USA and the UK. He is also the Clinical Academic Group (CAG) Leader for Child Health at King’s Health Partners.
