"Obesity: Endoscopic Treatment" by Dr TS Chandrasekar and Dr Manoel Galvao Neto

Padma Shri Awardeer. T.S. Chandrasekar, MD, DM, FRCP (London, Edinburg, Glasgow, Ireland), D.Sc, FACG, FASGE, MWGO is the Founder and Chief Gastroenterologist of MedIndia Hospitals, Chennai, India. Dr. TS Chandrasekar had a brilliant academic career. He did his MBBS from Madurai Medical College in 1980 with 14 Gold Medals. He did his MD (Medicine) in 1983 and DM (Gastroenterology) in 1985 from the most prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh and D.Sc from The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University in 2009. Dr. Chandrasekar has been honored with the most prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP – Glasgow). He is the Convenor of MedIndia Research Foundation, Founder and Managing Trustee of MedIndia Charitable Trust and Chief Organiser of MedIndia Academy.

Dr. Manoel Galvao Neto is a clinical associate professor at Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, and Affiliate Professor of Surgery at ABC College of Medicine in Canto Andrew in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Galvao will earn his PhD at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil, in 2018 for his thesis on endoscopic treatment of sleeve gastrectomy leaks. Dr. Galvo Neto graduated in Medicine at Bahiana School of Medicine and Public Health in 1989, Bahia, Brazil. he presented a Master degree thesis at So Paulo University. Board certified Digestive Surgeon by CBCD (1992) and Gastroenterology by FBG (1995).? 2001 in So Paulo.
