State Government Mandates Masks in All Health Institutions in Bhubaneswar Amid Rising Covid Cases

State government issues mandate for mask-wearing in healthcare institutions and high-risk areas to prevent the spread of Covid-19 amidst a rise in cases. The order requires all healthcare providers, officials, and attendees in meeting rooms to wear masks during duty hours. Those providing clinical and laboratory support services in the hospital setting must also wear masks during congregations in closed rooms. Additionally, everyone visiting areas with high disease transmission and those with flu-like symptoms are mandated to wear masks. 

The state recorded 382 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total active caseload to 3,032.
