Micronutrient Deficiency Among Indians

A recent report suggested that over 80% of Indians suffer from micronutrient deficiencies, which mar their immunity.

Micronutrient Deficiencies in India (MiND) are now recognized as an escalating problem and pose health risks to the majority of the population, as pointed out by Sandeep Verma, Country Head, and Consumer Health Division of Bayer in India.

A national advisory board consensus (opined by 21 Indian healthcare practitioners) stated that fatigue, malaise, insomnia, and loss of appetite denote ‘hidden hunger’ or nutritional deficiencies, which compromise immunity.
