Observational studies suggest high magnesium intake is associated with a lower risk of new-onset Type 2 diabetes (T2D).
Of note, pumpkin seeds must be consumed in moderation due to their calorie density. They can be enjoyed as a snack, added to salads, yogurt, or oatmeal, or used as a topping for roasted vegetables.
