In India alone, over 70,000 new cancer cases are reported annually, with approximately 20,000 cases of leukemia, including 12,000-15,000 cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Ph+ ALL, a rare childhood cancer subtype, accounts for 3-4% of pediatric cases and 25% of adult cases. Unfortunately, only 20% to 40% of adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) patients in India are Ph+.
