Can non-medical persons practice modern medicine after a short-term bridge course?
In this video, Dr. K K Aggarwal, Padma Shri Awardee, Editor-in-chief IJCP Publications, will talk whether non-medical persons can practice modern medicine after short-term bridge course. Modern medicine are not allowed to practice after short-term bridge course as they are scheduled drugs. These drugs needs to be monitored and they can have toxicity. He further says that any doctor who has just learned pharmacology during his MBBS, should not be allowed to prescribe medicines. He will further discuss about the internship in which the intern while prescribing drugs are monitored. Non-medical persons should not be allowed to practice medicine as it might cause harm to the society.
