This video is based on Approach to management of Type 2 diabetes after metformin has been exhibited with the help of the patient cases. These cases explain the complication of diabetes and what other drugs can be given if metformin fails to work on a patient. Further, it explains why it is important to give such medication to the patient which do not cause hypoglycaemia, why different drugs should be given for overweight patient, vascular problems patient and those in which risk factors are severe. This video also explains the investigation, treatments, medications, and diagnosis of the patient with kidney disease and why clinicians should realize some treatable factors should never lose sight of and how acute neuropathy arises due to uncontrolled diabetes, and how a disease could be related due to diabetes or unrelated due to diabetes.
